1 Day HC Licence Upgrade Course & FCA
Service Description
Heavy Combination Licence – HC With a Heavy Combination (HC) Licence, you will be able to drive the following : A single trailer commonly called a Semi-Trailer, truck and dog, pig trailers, tag trailers, floats, and low loaders. This licence is best suited for an experienced truck driver who wants to upgrade their licence. Since this kind of license involves a heavier vehicle, each truck driver must undergo additional training. This course takes between 6 – 10 hours in an automatic or Road Ranger truck. If you currently hold a HR or MR unrestricted licence this course can be completed in an automatic, and the unrestricted carry's over. RMS requires a minimum of 6 hours assessment time. Both options will have a thorough discussion about theory and one-on-one training for practical application. It also comes with a final assessment (FCA) that will be conducted by our RMS accredited HVCBA Assessors. 2nd day training if required or requested is an additional cost of $900 We are so confident on you passing first go, that we include a 2nd HVCBA FCA assessment at no extra charge unlike other schools.
Cancellation Policy
We ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 1 day before the beginning of your appointment. If the Learner Driver cancels or reschedules more than 24 hours before a lesson, the Learner Driver will be issued a credit by Derive Driving School for 100% of the value of the lesson fee. If the Learner Driver cancels or reschedules 24 hours or less before the lesson is due to start, or is a ‘no show’, then Driving Instructor will be entitled to charge the Learner Driver for the total price of that lesson; and Learner Driver acknowledges and agrees that the fee for cancellation or rescheduling being the total price of the lesson is not excessive and relates to the reasonable costs and expenses incurred by Derive Driving School and the Driving Instructor.
